The plight of the Indian bank

Today I happen to visit the Indian bank near my home for personal reasons.... I saw 4 express counters for cash payments below 20K. I was shocked to observe more tham 50 people standing before the 4 counters where the queue was moving at snail's pace.... It took me 30 minutes through the express counter to make the cash payment. I thought that festival crowd would have made all this mess..

When I reached a stage where only 2 more turns were left for mine, I noticed that the cashier in the adjoining one was arguing with a lady that her photo affixed in the passbook was taken while her husband was alive. Since she is a widow(usually women do not sport bindis, if the husband is dead), he is not able to identify her and threatening her to change the photograph before she makes the next visit.

My turn was still worser. The cashier was talking with someone over the mobile phone. He wasn't worried about my payment. He kept asking about my job, career and all that stuff!

Eventually, I made the payment and I had to pass the challan to get my cash drafted. The assistant asked me to come later since the person was not available at the seat...

I had to budge.....

Do you believe customer is a king in our natinalised banks?

I don't.....
